The Project
Hargan were appointed as principal electrical subcontractor for a full commercial fit-out of a three-floor, Grade A office development in Nottingham city centre. The project involved first and second fix electrical installation across all three floors, including distribution boards, final circuits, data, power and LED lighting throughout.
Working alongside the main contractor and building services consultant, we managed the full electrical scope from design coordination through to test and handover.
What We Did
- First and second fix electrical installation across three floors
- New main distribution board and sub-distribution panels
- Power and data infrastructure throughout open-plan and cellular office areas
- LED lighting design and installation, including daylight and occupancy sensing
- Emergency lighting system to BS 5266
- Final testing, inspection and certification to BS 7671
The Result
The project was completed on programme and handed over with full certification documentation. The client’s specification for flexible, future-proof power distribution was met throughout, allowing the building to be sub-divided into separate tenancies if required.
